3. About the webring

Where My Girls @t? hosts a webring: a collection of independent websites linked together. Each member website remains the sole responsibility of its own author. We have no control over the content of external sites linked from this webring and cannot be held responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

4. The webring widget

Member websites display a small widget that lets visitors navigate between the sites of the webring. It is added to a member's website by pasting a short piece of code provided by Where My Girls @t?.

When the widget is displayed on a member's website, the visitor's browser loads a few files from our server: a script, a stylesheet, a font, an icon and the list of webring members. As with any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs of these requests (such as IP address, date and requested file) for security and maintenance purposes. The widget does not set any cookies and does not use any tracking, advertising or analytics tools. We do not collect or use any data about visitors of member websites.

Members may remove the widget from their website at any time.

5.1 Site content

The texts on this site are written by Hanka van der Voet and Chinouk Filique de Miranda. The design and development of the site are by Marie Madonna, inspired by Xiaoyuan Gao's publication design for the project. These contents remain the property of their respective authors, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior permission from the authors is prohibited.

All typefaces used on this site are open source and remain the property of their respective designers. They are used in accordance with their licenses:

Names, descriptions and links submitted by webring members remain the property of their respective authors. By submitting their website, members authorise us to display this information on the webring and in the widget for as long as they remain members.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website.

6.2 Cookies used on this site

This site only uses a technical session cookie, generated by the content management system it runs on (ProcessWire CMS). This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to function: in particular, it ensures browsing security and protects the submission form against abuse. It contains no personally identifiable data and is not used for tracking, profiling or audience measurement. As this cookie is strictly necessary, it does not require your consent, and no consent banner is displayed.

No advertising, analytics or social media cookies are used on this site or in the widget.

6.3 Retention period

This is a session cookie: it is automatically deleted when you close your browser.

6.4 Managing your preferences

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you before they are stored. Please note that disabling this technical cookie may prevent the submission form from working properly.

7.2 Data collected through the form

This site includes a form allowing you to apply to join the webring. Through this form, we collect: website name, website URL, the practice/type of the website submitted, a short description (optional), and contact email address (optional).

This site does not use any audience measurement tool (such as Google Analytics or similar). All fonts and resources are hosted on our own server: no data is sent to third-party services when you browse the site.

7.3 Purpose and legal basis

The data collected through the form is used only to review your membership request, contact you about it and, if you join the webring, to display your website on it. This processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form.

Please note: the information intended for publication (website name, URL, practice/type, description) will be publicly visible on the webring and in the widget. Your email address will never be published.

7.4 Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as you are a member of the webring. If your request is not accepted, or if you leave the webring, your data is deleted.

7.5 Sharing with third parties

Your data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties. It is only accessible to the webring administrators and to our hosting provider (OVH), strictly for technical purposes. Our hosting provider is located in the European Union.

7.6 Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to ask to be removed from the webring. To exercise these rights, write to: info@wheremygirlsat.online.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority).

8. Limitation of liability

We strive to ensure the accuracy of the information published on this site but cannot guarantee its completeness. We cannot be held liable for errors, omissions, temporary unavailability of the site or the widget, or the content of member websites.
